MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

MPIRE Properties is seeking a full-time Maintenance professional to provide fast, friendly, and high-quality maintenance service for our residents. Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of our rental properties and all areas related to the day‐to‐day maintenance operations.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Prepare and fulfill unit-turn checklists;
Painting and minor drywall damages;
Troubleshoot repair issues;
Light plumbing and electrical;
Inspecting grounds and common areas;
Removing bulk trash (including appliances);
Lock installations;
Health and safety maintenance (smoke detectors);
Preventative and seasonal maintenance;
Work well with team members and residents.

Will be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying (light to heavyweight material/appliances/equipment), and climbing.

Job Requirements:

Outgoing, self-motivated, and highly reliable a must.
Basic mechanical aptitude.
Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision, when necessary.
Complete work in a timely, cost-effective, and accurate manner.
Respectful of fair housing laws, safety and resident confidentiality.
Experience with basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry necessary and general laborer experience a plus.

OVERHEAD DOOR INSTALLER

MPIRE Overhead Door is seeking a full-time Overhead Door Technician/Installer

Overhead Door Technician/Installer will be responsible for the installation and service/repair of residential and commercial garage doors. We are looking for a driven and self-motivated individual seeking a trade they can grow into a career. The right candidate will be mechanically and technically inclined and possess the interpersonal skills to thrive in this customer service-focused position.

Job Requirements:

Must be physically able to occasionally lift heavy items, sometimes exceeding 100lbs.
Prior experience with garage door maintenance, repair and replacement, handling tools and general mechanics is preferred but willing to provide additional technical training.

PAINTER/MOWER

MPIRE Properties is seeking a full-time Painter and Lawn Care Professional

Duties include, but not limited to, preparing interior and exterior painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces. Handling planning and prep work in an efficient manner.

Duties are upkeep of lawns for several multi-family properties including but not limited to mowing, trimming, edging, spraying weeds, cutting bushes/hedges, removing debris/clippings and keeping up general exterior property appearance. Must be able to work independently and efficiently and take pride in work. Must be able to work outside, operate lawn care equipment and occasionally lift heavy objects. Must be willing to learn and take direction.
